anekabāhūdaravaktranetram paśyāmi tvāṁ sarvato 'nantarūpam | nāntaṁ na madhyaṁ na punas tavādiṁ paśyāmi viśveśvara viśvarūpa ||

私はあなたを、数えきれぬ腕と腹と口と眼を備え、あらゆる方角へと広がる無尽の御姿として拝します。ああ、宇宙の主よ、宇宙の御姿よ!私はあなたの終わりも、中ほども、さらには始まりさえも見定めることができません。戦のただ中で、アルジュナの視界は人の限界で戦場を量ることから離れ、あらゆる尺度を超える神的実在を悟ります。それは支配や確信ではなく、謙虚さと畏敬の帰依を求めるのです。
