Viewing Bhīṣma’s Battle Array and Arjuna’s Reassurance
evaṁ rājan vijānīhi dhruvo 'smākaṁ raṇe jayaḥ | yathā tu nāradaḥ prāha yataḥ kṛṣṇas tato jayaḥ ||
Victory is portrayed as inseparable from alignment with Kṛṣṇa—symbolizing dharma, right guidance, and divine support. The verse frames success in war not merely as military strength but as the outcome of moral-spiritual alignment.
Sañjaya addresses King Dhṛtarāṣṭra and asserts that victory is certain for the side associated with Kṛṣṇa, citing Nārada’s authoritative statement. It functions as a prophetic reassurance and a moral commentary within the war narration.
