यावत्‌ कृष्णो महाबाहु: स्वाधीन: कुरुसत्तम | तावत्‌ पार्थेन शूरेण संधिस्ते तात युज्यताम्‌,“तात! कुरुश्रेष्ठी] जबतक महाबाहु भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्ण अपने लोगोंके प्रेमके अधीन हैं, तभीतक शूरवीर अर्जुनके साथ तुम्हारी संधि हो जाय तो ठीक है

sañjaya uvāca |

yāvat kṛṣṇo mahābāhuḥ svādhīnaḥ kurusattama |

tāvat pārthena śūreṇa sandhis te tāta yujyatām ||

サञ्जयは言った。「クル族の最勝者よ、強大なる腕を持つクリシュナが、なお汝の好意と影響のうちにある間に、愛しき者よ、勇なるパールタ(アルジュナ)と和解を結ぶがよい。今こそ相応しき時である。」
