Educational Q&A

Even in war, righteous leadership requires clear discernment of intention and steadfast commitment to truth (satya). Yudhiṣṭhira’s movement toward Bhīṣma reflects acting from dharma—seeking the right course amid moral complexity.

Sañjaya reports that Yudhiṣṭhira, having understood Bhīṣma’s intention, advances on the battlefield toward Bhīṣma, accompanied by the Sṛñjaya warriors—signaling a deliberate engagement shaped by strategy and ethical resolve.
