भीष्मस्य जलप्रार्थना — अर्जुनस्य पर्जन्यास्त्रप्रयोगः — दुर्योधनं प्रति सन्ध्युपदेशः

स विद्धों दशभिरणिस्तोत्रैरिव महाद्विप:
sa viddho daśabhir aṇistotrair iva mahādvipaḥ, vyanadat samare śūraḥ siṃhavad raṇamūrdhani |
サञ्जयは言った。十の矢に射抜かれるや、その勇士は戦場にて、鋭い鉤に責められた大象のごとく咆哮した。傷を負いながらも、ビーマセーナは戦の最前において獅子のように轟き、痛みを恐れぬ決意へと変え、乱戦のただ中にあっても武人の務めが折れていないことを示した。
