Bhīṣma’s Fall to the Arrow-Bed
तत्राद्भुतमपश्याम वृद्धयोश्चरितं महत् । यद् द्रौणिसायकान् घोरान् प्रत्यवारयतां युधि
tatrādbhutam apaśyāma vṛddhayoś caritaṃ mahat | yad droṇisāyakān ghorān pratyavārayatāṃ yudhi, rājan |
サンジャヤは言った。「そこでは、王よ、年老いた二人の王の驚くべき、まことに偉大な働きを見た。戦のただ中で、彼らはドローナの子（アシュヴァッターマ）が放つ恐るべき矢を次々と退けていた。」
