Adhyāya 112: Bhīṣma-prati Arjunasya Pravṛttiḥ
Arjuna’s Forward Drive Toward Bhīṣma
sātyakiśrekitānaś ca mādrīputro ca pāṇḍavau | abhimanyuḥ suvikrānto vāhinīṃ dravate mama ||
The verse highlights the ethical ideal of steadfast courage in a righteous cause: disciplined, resolute warriors can overturn fear and disorder in battle, showing how morale and leadership shape outcomes as much as numbers.
Sañjaya, narrating to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, reports that Sātyaki, Śrekitāna, Mādrī’s son among the Pāṇḍavas, and the highly valiant Abhimanyu are pressing hard and causing the Kaurava host to flee.
