अस्थिसंघातसम्बाधा केशशैवलशाद्वला । रथद्गदा शरावर्ता हयमीना दुरासदा
sañjaya uvāca |
asthisaṅghātasambādhā keśaśaivalśādvalā |
rathadgādā śarāvartā hayamīnā durāsadā ||
サンジャヤは言った。「その恐るべき川は、岩塊のような骨の山に塞がれていた。水面の髪は藻や草のように見え、戦車と棍棒（ガダー）は淵のごとく、矢は渦のごとく、馬はその中の魚のようであった。ゆえにそれは険しく、渡ることも難しかった。」
