Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
यदर्थ मां प्राहिणोत् त्वत्सकाशं बृहस्पतिं परिदातुं मरुत्ते । अयं गुरुर्याजयतां नृप त्वां मर्त्य सन््तममरं त्वां करोतु
yadarthaṁ māṁ prāhiṇot tvatsakāśaṁ bṛhaspatiṁ paridātuṁ marutte | ayaṁ gurur yājayatāṁ nṛpa tvāṁ martya san tam amaraṁ tvāṁ karotu ||
アグニは言った。「マルッタよ、我がそなたのもとへ遣わされた目的を聞け。彼は我を介して、ブリハスパティをそなたの前に据えようとしている。彼はこう宣した。『この者は汝のグルである。王よ、彼に汝の祭祀を司らせよ。汝は死すべき人であるが、彼が汝を不死の境地へ至らしめんことを。』」
