एवमेतदिति प्राहुस्तदभूल्लोमहर्षणम् । उनके ऐसा कहनेपर भीमसेन आदि भाइयों और द्रौपदीने एक स्वरसे कहा--'हाँ, महाराजका कहना ठीक है।” इस महान् त्यागकी बात सुनकर सबके रोंगटे खड़े हो गये
evam etad iti prāhus tad abhūl lomaharṣaṇam |
「まことにそのとおりです」と彼らは答え、その場は身の毛もよだつほどであった。彼がそう語った後も、ビーマセーナら兄弟とドラウパディーは声をそろえて言った。「はい——王のお言葉は正しい。」この大いなる放棄の物語を聞くや、誰もが畏敬に打たれ、犠牲のもつ法（ダルマ）の重みによって総毛立った。
