Aśvamedha-dīkṣā, Vyāsa’s horse-release, and Arjuna’s departure with Gāṇḍīva (आश्वमेधिक-दीक्षा तथा हय-उत्सर्गः)

व्यास उवाच अहं पैलो5थ कौन्तेय याज्ञवल्क्यस्तथैव च । विधानं यद्‌ यथाकालं तत्‌ कर्तारो न संशय:,व्यासजीने कहा--कुन्तीनन्दन! जब यज्ञका समय आयेगा, उस समय मैं, पैल और याज्ञवल्क्य--ये सब आकर तुम्हारे यज्ञका सारा विधि-विधान सम्पन्न करेंगे; इसमें संशय नहीं है

vyāsa uvāca: ahaṃ pailo ’tha kaunteya yājñavalkyas tathaiva ca | vidhānaṃ yad yathākālaṃ tat kartāro na saṃśayaḥ ||

ヴィヤーサは言った。「クンティの子よ、祭祀のしかるべき時が来れば、我はパイラとヤージュニャヴァルキヤと共に赴き、定められた作法のすべてを時にかなって秩序正しく執り行う。疑いはない。」
