Āśvamedha-dīkṣā-nirdeśaḥ — Scheduling the Initiation and Assigning Protection for the Horse

विदुरं पूजयित्वा च वैश्यापुत्र॑ समेत्य च

viduraṁ pūjayitvā ca vaiśyāputraṁ sametya ca

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。彼らはまずヴィドゥラをしかるべく敬い、さらにヴァイシャの女から生まれた子とも面会して、礼敬と社会の務めにかなう道を進んだ――正しき行いは、賢者への尊崇と、出生を問わぬ万人への丁重な交わりから始まることを示したのである。
