वैशम्पायन उवाच
A truthful declaration grounded in dharma (satyavacana) is presented as spiritually efficacious: when one’s past actions are righteous, invoking that truth can become a moral force capable of bringing about restoration and protection.
A speaker invokes the precedent of Kaṃsa and Keśī being slain in a dharmic manner and, using that fact as a solemn truth-statement, pronounces a benediction that the child before them should revive and live again.
