Subhadrā’s Petition to Kṛṣṇa for the Revival of Parīkṣit (अभिमन्युज-प्राणरक्षा-प्रार्थना)
ततस्त्वरितमायान्तीं ददर्श स्वां पितृष्वसाम् | क्रोशन्तीमभिधावेति वासुदेव॑ पुनः पुन:
tatas tvaritam āyantīṁ dadarśa svāṁ pitṛṣvasām | krośantīm abhidhāveti vāsudeva punaḥ punaḥ ||
すると彼は、父方の叔母クンティーが烈しい勢いで駆け寄って来るのを見た。彼女は何度も何度も叫び続けた――「ヴァースデーヴァ！ 走って、走って！」。その切迫した叫びは、突発の危難と、ただちに守護へ動くべき義務の重さを告げていた。
