asyāstu vacanaṁ śrutvā sarvāstāḥ kuru-yoṣitaḥ
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。その言葉を聞くや、クル族の女たちは皆、悲嘆に呑まれた。彼女を両手で取りすがり、激しい苦しみのうちに、哀れを誘う嘆きの声をあげて泣き崩れた—戦が家々に残す痛みを示す、共同の慟哭であった。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
