Transliteration

akṣauhiṇībhiḥ śiṣṭābhir navabhir ṛddhijasattamaḥ | saṃvṛtaḥ samarāślāghī guptaḥ kṛpavṛṣādibhiḥ ||

Translation

ヴァースデーヴァは語った。――「その最も栄えある者は、なお残る九つのアクシャウヒニーに四方から囲まれていた。みずから戦いを望み、合戦を誇りとしたが、クリパやヴリシャ（カルナ）らによって絶えず守られていたのだ。」
