इतो हि नागलोको वै योजनानि सहस्रश: । न दण्डकाष्ठसाध्यं च मन्ये कार्यमिदं तव
ito hi nāgaloko vai yojanāni sahasraśaḥ | na daṇḍakāṣṭhasādhyaṃ ca manye kāryam idaṃ tava ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。「ここよりナーガ界は幾千の由旬も隔たっている。ゆえに、汝のこの企ては、ただの木の杖によっては成し遂げられぬと私は見る。」
