वैशम्पायन उवाच इत्युक्त: स तदा राज्ञा क्षमं बुद्धिमता हितम् । अनुज्ञाप्य स राजानमहल्यां प्रतिजग्मिवान्
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: ity uktaḥ sa tadā rājñā kṣamaṁ buddhimatā hitam | anujñāpya sa rājānam ahalyāṁ pratijagmivān ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。かく王—賢き者—に告げられ、相応しく益ある言葉を聞き終えると、聖者ウッタンカは王に暇を乞い、再びアハリヤーのもとへと旅立った。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
One should accept fitting and beneficial counsel from the wise, and act with propriety—especially by seeking and receiving due permission before departing or undertaking the next step.
After hearing the wise king’s appropriate and welfare-oriented words, Uttaṅka formally takes the king’s leave and proceeds toward Ahalyā, marking a transition to the next scene of the episode.
