वायुर्वेगेन महता रथस्य पुरतो ववौ । कुर्वन्नि:शर्करं मार्ग विरजस्कमकण्टकम्,उनके रथके आगे बड़े वेगसे हवा आती और रास्तेकी धूल, कंकण तथा काँटोंको उड़ाकर अलग कर देती थी
vāyur vegena mahatā rathasya purato vavau | kurvann iḥśarkaraṁ mārgaṁ virajaskam akaṇṭakam ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。強大な風が戦車の前方に勢いよく吹き、道を清めた――小石を払い、塵を巻き上げて遠ざけ、棘を取り除き――そのため路は清らかで滑らか、妨げなきものとなった。これは旅路に与えられた天の配慮を示し、まるで自然そのものが、滞りなき前進のために力を貸したかのようであった。
