पार्थिवश्च सदा गन्धो गन्धश्न बहुधा स्मृत: । तस्य गन्धस्य वक्ष्यामि विस्तरेण बहून्‌ गुणान्‌

Transliteration

pārthivaś ca sadā gandho gandhaś ca bahudhā smṛtaḥ | tasya gandhasya vakṣyāmi vistareṇa bahūn guṇān |

Translation

風神ヴァーユは言った。「大地において香りは常に存し、それこそが彼女の際立つ性質である。『におい』は多種多様であると説かれる。いま、その香りの多くの性質と効能を、詳しく語ろう。」
