Transliteration

samastam iha tac chrutvā samyag evāvadhāryatām | ahiṃsā sarvabhūtānām etat kṛtyatamaṃ matam ||

Translation

ここに述べられたすべてを聞いたなら、正しく悟り、堅く心に保て。あらゆる生きとし生けるものに対する不殺生（アヒンサー）こそ、最も切実なる務めとされる。
