कālacakra-वर्णनम् तथा āśrama-धarma-निरूपणम्

मासार्धमासगणितं विषमं लोकसंचरम् । तमोनियमपड्कं च रजोवेगप्रवर्तकम्
māsārdhamāsagaṇitaṃ viṣamaṃ lokasañcaram | tamoniyamapaṅkaṃ ca rajovegapravartakam
ヴァーユ神は言った。「それは月と半月によって数えられつつ、諸世界を不均等な歩みで巡る。闇（tamas）の規律に支配された泥沼であり、激情（rajas）の激しい奔流を起こして動かす。」
