अहं प्रजापतीनां च सर्वेषां नात्र संशय: । मम विष्णुरचिन्त्यात्मा स्वयम्भूरिति स स्मृत:,सम्पूर्ण प्रजापतियोंका आदि मैं हूँ, इसमें संशय नहीं है। मेरे आदि अचिन्त्यात्मा भगवान्‌ विष्णु हैं। उन्हींको स्वयम्भू कहते हैं

Transliteration

ahaṃ prajāpatīnāṃ ca sarveṣāṃ nātra saṃśayaḥ | mama viṣṇur acintyātmā svayambhūr iti sa smṛtaḥ ||

Translation

ヴァーユは言った。「我はすべてのプラジャーパティ（生主）たちの原初の源である。これに疑いはない。だが我が起源は、不可思議なる本性をもつヴィシュヌにある。彼はスヴァヤンブー（Svayambhū）—自存の者—として記憶される。」
