Brahmopadeśa: Adhipatitva-kathana, Dharma-lakṣaṇa, and Kṣetra–Kṣetrajña Viveka
Book 14, Chapter 43
dīkṣitānāṃ tathā yajño daivānāṃ maghavā tathā | diśām udīcī viprāṇāṃ somo rājā pratāpavān ||
The verse teaches recognition of rightful presiding principles: sacrifice governs the consecrated, Indra governs the gods, the North is foremost among directions, and Soma is chief among Brahmins—illustrating dharmic order through appropriate hierarchy.
Vāyu is enumerating domain-wise overlords (adhikārins/presiding powers) to explain a structured cosmic and ritual framework, linking consecration, divine governance, spatial orientation, and Brahminical eminence.
