Book 14, Chapter 43
दीक्षितानां तथा यज्ञो दैवानां मघवा तथा । दिशामुदीची विप्राणां सोमो राजा प्रतापवान्
dīkṣitānāṃ tathā yajño daivānāṃ maghavā tathā | diśām udīcī viprāṇāṃ somo rājā pratāpavān ||
ヴァーユは言った。「ディークシャ（灌頂・潔斎）を受けた者たちのうちでは、主宰するのは祭祀（ヤジュニャ）そのもの。神々のうちでは、マガヴァー（インドラ）が主である。方角のうちでは北方が覇を握り、ブラーフマナのうちでは、威光あるソーマ王が首位と見なされる。」
