Educational Q&A

To integrate awareness of the senses, their objects, and the five elements into a single mental understanding, and to hold that unified insight steadily. This promotes mastery over distraction and supports ethical steadiness through inner discipline.

Within the Anugītā section of the Aśvamedhika Parva, Vāyu is instructing in a guru–śiṣya style discourse. He gives a practical contemplative directive: mentally synthesize the constituents of experience (senses, objects, elements) and retain that insight as a basis for self-mastery.
