Adhyāya 40: Brahmā on Mahān (The Great Principle) and the All-Pervading Puruṣa
sa dhīraḥ sarvalokeṣu na moham adhigacchati |
True steadiness comes from Self-knowledge: even when the world is shaken by fear—up to the cosmic dissolution—the dhīra (wise, self-controlled person) does not succumb to moha (delusion).
Vāyudeva is instructing about the contrast between ordinary beings who panic at pralaya and the enlightened, resolute person who remains unbewildered, presenting an ethical-spiritual ideal of inner stability.
