तत एव प्रवर्तन्ते तदेव प्रविशन्ति च | “उसीसे सृष्टि आदिका विस्तार होता है और उसीमें उसकी स्थिति है। प्राण, अपान, समान, व्यान और उदान--से उसीसे प्रकट होते और फिर उसीमें प्रविष्ट हो जाते हैं ।।

tata eva pravartante tadeva praviśanti ca |

ヴァーユ神は言った。「それらはただ彼より起こり、ただ彼に帰入する。プラーナ、アパーナ、サマーナ、ヴィヤーナ、ウダーナという五つの生命作用は、至上の基盤より現れ、ついには再びそこへと融け入る。」
