वैशम्पायन उवाच इत्युक्त: स तु त॑ प्राह व्यासो वेदविदां वर: । युधिष्ठटिरं महातेजा: पुनरेव महाकवि:
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: ity uktaḥ sa tu taṃ prāha Vyāso vedavidāṃ varaḥ | Yudhiṣṭhiraṃ mahātejāḥ punar eva mahākaviḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。かく言い終えると、ヴェーダを知る者のうち最勝なる輝けるヴィヤーサが、再びユディシュティラに呼びかけた。霊威に照り映える大詩人は訓戒を続け、その重き時に王を正しきダルマの道へと導いた。
