अयं हि वृद्धो नृपतिर्हतपुत्रो विशेषत: । नेदं कृच्छूं चिरतरं सहेदिति मतिर्मम
ayaṃ hi vṛddho nṛpatir hataputro viśeṣataḥ | nedaṃ kṛcchraṃ cirataraṃ sahed iti matir mama ||
ヴィヤーサは言った。「この王はすでに老い、しかも何より、子らを失っている。我が見立てでは、この苦難をこれ以上長く耐え抜くことはできまい。」
