धृतराष्ट्रस्य पाण्डवेषु प्रीति-वृत्तान्तः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Affectionate Disposition toward the Pāṇḍavas

संश्रवे धृतराष्ट्रस्य गान्धार्याश्चाप्यमर्षण: । स्मृत्वा दुर्योधन शत्रुं कर्णदुःशासनावपि

saṁśrave dhṛtarāṣṭrasya gāndhāryāś cāpy amarṣaṇaḥ | smṛtvā duryodhanaśatruṁ karṇaduḥśāsanāv api

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。ダルタラーシュトラとガーンダーリーのことを耳にすると、かつて怨みを抱かなかった者の心も揺り動かされた。さらに敵—ドゥルヨーダナ、そしてカルナとドゥフシャーサナ—を思い出し、心は再び古い憎しみへと向かった。
