द्रौपदीप्रमुखाश्नापि स्त्रीसंघा: शिबिकायुता: । स्त्र्यध्यक्षगुप्ता: प्रययुर्विसृजन्तो5मितं वसु

Transliteration

draupradīpramukhāś cāpi strīsaṅghāḥ śibikāyutāḥ | stryadhyakṣaguptāḥ prayayur visṛjanto 'mitaṃ vasu ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。ドラウパディーを先頭に、ほかの女たちは一団となり、輿（こし）を備えて、女官たちの護りのもと出立した。道すがら彼女らは豊かな財を惜しみなく施した――それは身分にふさわしく、旅立ちと転機の時に布施を尽くすという慣わしの義務を映していた。
