जगमदग्निर्वाच स्थिरं चापि चल॑ चापि जाने त्वां ज्ञानचक्षुषा | अवश्यं विनयाधान कार्यमद्य मया तव

Transliteration

Jamadagnir uvāca: sthiraṁ cāpi calaṁ cāpi jāne tvāṁ jñānacakṣuṣā | avaśyaṁ vinayādhānaṁ kāryam adya mayā tava ||

Translation

ジャマダグニは言った。「汝の志が揺るがずとも、揺れ動こうとも、真実の智の眼によって我は汝を見抜いた――汝は太陽である。ゆえに今日、我は必ず汝に戒めを与え、謙虚と正しい行いに安住させねばならぬ。」
