छत्रोपानहदानफलप्रशंसा — Praise of the Merit of Donating Umbrella and Footwear
प्रहष्ट: सम्प्रचिक्षेप सा च प्रत्याजहार तान् । धनुषकी प्रत्यंचाकी टंकारध्वनि और बाणके छूटनेकी सनसनाहटसे जमदग्नि मुनि बहुत प्रसन्न होते थे। अतः वे बार-बार बाण चलाते और रेणुका उन्हें दूरसे उठा-उठाकर लाया करती थीं
praharṣaḥ sampracikṣepa sā ca pratyājahāra tān | dhanuṣkī pratyancākī ṭaṅkāra-dhvaniḥ bāṇa-muktasya ca sanasanāhaṭaḥ jamadagni-muniṃ bahu praharṣayati sma | ataḥ sa punaḥ punaḥ bāṇān amuñcat, reṇukā ca tān dūrataḥ utthāpya-utthāpya ānayatī sma |
ビーシュマは語った。「喜びに満ちて彼は幾度も矢を放ち、彼女はそれを拾い集めて戻した。弓弦の鳴る響きと、放たれた矢が空を裂く鋭い唸りは、聖仙ジャマダグニの心を大いに歓ばせた。ゆえに彼は繰り返し矢を放ち、レーヌカーは遠くからそれらを持ち上げ、たびたび彼のもとへ運び返したのである。」
