हर प्ज् (४ ब्र्‌ कर ४ [४4 वसिष्ठ उवाच शतेन निष्कगणितं सहस्रेण च सम्मितम्‌ । तथा बहु प्रतीच्छन्‌ वै पापिष्ठां पतते गतिम्‌

Transliteration

Vasiṣṭha uvāca | śatena niṣkagaṇitaṃ sahasreṇa ca sammitam | tathā bahu pratīcchan vai pāpiṣṭhāṃ patate gatim ||

Translation

ヴァシシュタは言った。「ニシュカ（黄金貨）を一枚受け取るだけでも、百枚を受け取るに等しい過失を招きうる。千枚を受け取れば、なおさら重いと数えられる。ゆえに、そのような貨幣を多く受け取る者は、最も罪深い運命の道へと堕ちる。」
