Austerity, regulated fasting, residual-eating, and hospitality
अक्रोधना हाचपला: क्षान्ता दान्ता जितेन्द्रिया: । सर्वभूतहिता ये च श्राद्धेष्वेतान् निमन्त्रयेत्
akrodhanā hācapalāḥ kṣāntā dāntā jitendriyāḥ | sarvabhūtahitā ye ca śrāddheṣv etān nimantrayet ||
ビーシュマは言った。シュラーダ（śrāddha）の儀礼には、怒りなく、軽躁ならず、忍耐し、自制し、諸根を制し、あらゆる生きものの利益を願う者たちを招くべきである。
