Śrāddha-utpatti and Nivāpa–Agni Precedence (श्राद्धोत्पत्तिः—निवापेऽग्निपूर्वकत्वम्)
आधिपत्य॑ व्रजेन्मर्त्यो ज्येष्ठायामपवर्जयन् । नर: कुरुकुलश्रेष्ठ ऋद्धो दमपुर:सर:
ādhipatyaṁ vrajen martyo jyeṣṭhāyām apavarjayan | naraḥ kurukulaśreṣṭha ṛddho damapuraḥsaraḥ ||
ビーシュマは言った。「クル族の最勝者よ。ジェーシュター（Jyeṣṭhā）の宿において、先に諸感官を制し、ピンダ（piṇḍa）を供える者は、繁栄を得て主権を行うに至る。」
