Śrāddha-dvija-parīkṣā: Paṅkti-dūṣa and Paṅkti-pāvana (श्राद्धे द्विजपरीक्षा—पङ्क्तिदूष-पङ्क्तिपावन)
इति श्रीमहाभारते अनुशासनपर्वणि दानथधर्मपर्वणि श्राद्धकल्पे सप्ताशीतितमो<ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi dānadharmaparvaṇi śrāddhakalpe saptāśītitamo 'dhyāyaḥ
かくして、『聖なるマハーバーラタ』の「アヌシャーサナ・パルヴァ（Anuśāsana Parva）」における、布施のダルマ（dāna-dharma）を説く章のうち、シュラーダ（śrāddha）儀礼の規則と作法を論じた第八十七章は終わる。物語の枠組みはなおビーシュマの教誨にあり、正しい施しと、法にかなった祖霊供養こそがダルマの要であると強調される。
