ददृशुः कृत्तिकास्तं तु बालमर्कसमद्युतिम्‌ । जातस्नेहाच्च सौहार्दात्‌ पुपुषु: स्तन्यविस्त्रवै:

Transliteration

dadṛśuḥ kṛttikās taṃ tu bālam arka-samad-yutim | jāta-snehāc ca sauhārdāt pupuṣuḥ stanya-vistravaiḥ ||

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「クリッティカーの母たちは、その子が太陽のように輝くのを見た。胸に愛情が湧き、親しみの情に動かされて、乳房から乳をあふれさせ、その子を養った。」
