Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
तद् वै सर्वानतिक्रम्य देवदानवराक्षसान् | मानुषानथ गन्धर्वान् नागानथ च पक्षिण:
tad vai sarvān atikramya devadānavarākṣasān | mānuṣān atha gandharvān nāgān atha ca pakṣiṇaḥ ||
ビーシュマは言った。「彼はすべてを凌駕するであろう――神々、ダーナヴァ、ラクシャサ、人間、ガンダルヴァ、ナーガ、さらには鳥に至るまで。しかも外れぬ武器の威力によって、汝らに恐れを起こさせたそのアスラを討ち取る。ほかの神々の敵どもも、また彼が滅ぼすであろう。」
