Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
शक्ता हासि महीं कृत्स्नां वोढुं धारयितुं तथा । न हि ते किंचिदप्राप्पमन्यतो धारणादृते,“देवि! तुम सारी पृथ्वीको धारण करनेमें समर्थ हो, फिर इस गर्भको धारण करना तुम्हारे लिये कुछ असाध्य नहीं है”
śaktā hāsi mahīṁ kṛtsnāṁ voḍhuṁ dhārayituṁ tathā | na hi te kiṁcid aprāpyam anyato dhāraṇād ṛte |
ビーシュマは言った。「おお女神よ、汝は全大地をも担い支える力を具えている。ゆえにこの胎を宿すことは汝にとって不可能ではない――支えるという行為そのものなくしては成り立たぬ事を除き、汝に越えられぬものはない。」
