Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
तया चाप्यभवन्मिश्रो गर्भ चास्यादधे तदा । ववृधे स तदा गर्भ: कक्षे कृष्णगतिर्यथा
tayā cāpy abhavan miśro garbha cāsyādadhē tadā | vavṛdhe sa tadā garbhaḥ kakṣe kṛṣṇagatir yathā ||
ビーシュマは言った。「そして彼は彼女と結ばれ、その時彼女は彼の胎を宿した。その胎は彼女の内で育ち始めた。まるで火が—その行路は暗く見えようとも—窪みや薪の積みに置かれれば、たちまち燃え上がるように。」
