“'देवताओ! अग्नि रसातलमें निवास करते हैं। प्रभो! मैं अग्निजनित संतापसे ही घबराकर यहाँ आया हूँ ।।
bhīṣma uvāca | sa saṁsupto jale devā bhagavān havyavāhanaḥ | apaḥ saṁsṛjya tejobhis tena santāpitā vayam ||
ビーシュマは言った。「おお神々よ、供物を運ぶ者ハヴィヤヴァーハナたる尊き火は、自らの燃えさかる力を水と結び合わせ、水の中に眠りについた。その光威ゆえに、われらは灼かれ苦しめられているのだ。」
