वसिष्ठ उवाच
The verse teaches that sustained dharmic excellence yields a superior post-mortem destiny: one becomes incomparable in higher realms, with an unobstructed course and the ability to move freely—imagery for the removal of karmic obstacles through virtue and discipline.
Vasiṣṭha continues his instruction by describing the फल (result) of the previously taught conduct: the practitioner attains an unmatched status in other worlds, enjoying unhindered progress and freedom to go where he wishes.
