Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
ते यद् ब्रूयुर्महाप्राज्ञास्तच्चैव समुदाचर । ततो वसिष्ठ देवर्षिमगस्त्यमथ काश्यपम्
te yad brūyur mahāprājñās tac caiva samudācara | tato vasiṣṭhaṃ devarṣim agastyam atha kāśyapaṃ, kena vā karmayogena pradānena iha kena vā ||
ビーシュマは言った。「その大智の聖仙たちが告げることは、すべてそのとおりに行え—実践せよ。」その後、ブリグの末裔たる光輝あるパラシュラーマは、天仙ヴァシシュタ、さらにアガスティヤとカश्यパのもとへ赴き、こう問うた。「最上のバラモンよ、私は清められたい。告げよ—いかなる行の規律（業の修行）によって、あるいはいかなる布施によって、この世で人は清浄を得るのか。」
