भीष्म उवाच शृणु राजन्नवहितो बहुकारणविस्तरम् । जातरूपसमुत्पत्तिमनुभूतं च यन््मया
bhīṣma uvāca: śṛṇu rājann avahito bahu-kāraṇa-vistaram | jātarūpa-samutpattim anubhūtaṃ ca yan mayā ||
ビーシュマは言った。「王よ、心を澄ませて聞きなさい。黄金(ジャータルーパ jātarūpa)の起源には多くの因があり、その説き明かしは広大である。私は自ら理解し、体験して得たところに従い、しかるべき順序で黄金の由来を語ろう。」
