दिव्यतानेषु गायन्त: पर्युपासन्त त॑ प्रभुम् तत्र दिव्यानि पुष्पाणि प्रावहत् पवनस्तदा
divyatāneṣu gāyantaḥ paryupāsanta taṁ prabhum | tatra divyāni puṣpāṇi prāvahat pavanastadā ||
ビーシュマは言った。「天上の調べにのせて歌い、彼の主を礼拝していた。そのとき風神は、神々しい花々をそこへ運び来たらせた。」この場面は、精妙な音楽と供物によって信仰が表される聖なる集会を想起させ、真の敬虔とは虚飾ではなく、調和と美と整然たる礼拝にこそ宿ることを示している。
