येन देवा: पवित्रेण भुज्जते लोकमुत्तमम् । यत् पवित्र पवित्राणां तद् घृतं शिरसा वहेत्
yena devāḥ pavitreṇa bhuñjate lokam uttamam | yat pavitra pavitrāṇāṁ tad ghṛtaṁ śirasā vahet |
ヴィヤーサは言った。「その浄めの物によって、神々は最上の世界を享受し、またそれを支えている。しかもそれは、清浄なるものの中で最も清浄である。ゆえにギー（ghṛta）を頭上に戴き、聖なる敬意の行として行うべきである。」
