रक्तोत्पलवनैश्वैव मणिखण्डैर्हिरण्मयै: । तरुणादित्यसंकाशैर्भान्ति तत्र जलाशया:,वहाँके जलाशय लाल कमलवनोंसे तथा प्रातः-कालीन सूर्यके समान प्रकाशमान मणिजटित सुवर्णमय सोपानोंसे सुशोभित होते हैं
raktotpalavanaiś caiva maṇikhaṇḍair hiraṇmayaiḥ | taruṇādityasaṅkāśair bhānti tatra jalāśayāḥ ||
ヴィヤーサは言う。そこでは湖や池が壮麗に輝き、紅蓮の林と、宝玉を嵌め込んだ黄金の階(きざはし)に飾られて、昇る朝日のごとく光りわたる。この描写は、整った美と吉祥に満ちた境界を示し、正しい行いに伴う道徳的調和を暗示している。
व्यास उवाच
The verse conveys that environments associated with righteousness and merit are marked by harmony, beauty, and auspicious radiance. Such imagery functions ethically: it suggests that dharmic order manifests outwardly as splendor and serenity.
Vyāsa is describing a wondrous locale: its water-reservoirs are embellished with red-lotus groves and golden, gem-studded stairways that gleam like the morning sun, emphasizing the extraordinary and auspicious character of the place.
