शूरा वीराश्न शतश: सन्ति लोके युधिष्छिर । येषां संख्यायमानानां दानशूरो विशिष्यते
śūrā vīrāś ca śataśaḥ santi loke yudhiṣṭhira | yeṣāṃ saṅkhyāyamānānāṃ dānaśūro viśiṣyate ||
ビーシュマは言った。「ユディシュティラよ、この世には勇士や豪傑が幾百といる。だが彼らを数え、比べるなら、施しにおいて勇を示す者—寛大さによって勇気を顕す者—こそが最も卓れている。」
