पितृशुश्रूषणे कि च मातृशुश्रूषणे तथा । आचार्यगुरुशुश्रूषास्वनुक्रोशानुकम्पने

Transliteration

pitṛśuśrūṣaṇe kiṁ ca mātṛśuśrūṣaṇe tathā | ācārya-guruśuśrūṣāsv anukrośānukampane ||

Translation

ユディシュティラは言った。「父に対する篤い奉仕からはいかなる報いが得られるのでしょうか。母に対しても同様に、いかなる果があるのでしょうか。師（アーチャーリヤ）と導師（グル）に仕えることからは何の果報が生じ、また生きとし生けるものへの慈しみと憐れみを保つことからは、いかなる果報が得られるのでしょうか。」
